I'm really liking the Giraffe illustration and admire your concise effort to make it look like a candid photo. I'm glad you chose to post the rough as well.
As I've told you on many occasions, you have a really good color sense. My favourite is the alien in the scuba gear. You're making yourself quite valuable by knowing how to color in so many different programs.
